Hate to do this, but how bout a group effort for Orc's Treasure (GC674E) and Over the Falls (GC2127R)? I'm thinking a weekend mid to late August-will firm that up as we get a little closer and some feedback.
(BTW, I said hate to do this, because the other 2 group outings I've been involved in, got archived immediately afterwords-Sand Castle II and Subway).
Also, we will probably try to do a few others that lie along the Genesee river afterwords. |

| We did Orc a month or so ago, but would love to go down and do over the falls. |

| I've done both of those, but I would come along for the trip if I can ... Hockey_Boy hasn't done "over the falls" yet, and I would love to do some of the others along the river. |

I'd love to go--but first, can those who've done either before tell me how steep the route in is? I can scramble, but I don't have a great head for heights. _________________ Selmarat |

| I'll be there, prefer earlier as this looks quite challenging. I haven't cached yet in this area, or even been in this area! It looks like a lot of fun, but even I'm skeptical about doing this alone (and I will). It'd be nice to have a group of us, it could be a lot of fun! Let's make a day out of it! |

| The 21st works for us also. Anytime, probably earlier would be better. What is the attire for the day. Hiking boot, hip waders, water shoes? |

| The 21st works for me as well- earlier rather than later- but maybe not as early as 9 ( 9:30? 10?)- although I'd do 9 if that is what the group chooses. Have the same questions as to attire. Perhaps sno_man, who has done both, can offer suggestions? Looking forward to this! |

I think I can make the 21st. Early is better for me, too. 9 am would be fine.
How long an expedition do people estimate here? (Have to figure out how long I can escape the family) _________________ Selmarat |

Orc's - the tallest waterproof boots you own, or plan to have wet feet. I had wet feet and survived. Falls - you are going to get wet from the spray no matter what you do, but regular hiking boots are fine. Both - good flashlights, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. I'm going to try to join on the 21st also, we'll see how that works out. |

Work just piled up on me big-time. Sorry, gang, but I won't be able to make it on the expedition (and man, am I bummed about it!).
Hope all goes well! _________________ Selmarat |
