|
|
While geocaching nearby, I was very excited to see a whole park with no geocache icons. I scoped it out the other day as a potential location for a hide, but it appears from signs and yellow caution tape that the trees along Irondequoit Creek are infested with "agressive" bees.
Does anyone know anything about this park? Were there geocaches here at one time? |

Is that the dog park? If so tons have caches have come and gone (muggled rather quickly) there, for instance MacCrew had one or 2 in there, not sure about the bees.
Also, GCZJQP and GCMVP8 may have technically been in the park not sure, and that trail seems closed now. |

| Many have been hidden there, probably at least a dozen over the years. They come and go, and it seems we are in a period of "go" right now. |

Here's a few I can think of:
GCMVP8
GC1JETY
GC1454Y
GCR9R8
GC1YMMZ
I know there are more, but there isn't a way to search for archived caches near a location. |

I think you meant to say there isn't an immediate way. Can't you just set up a PQ using one cache you know of (or coordinates of your choice), and then check only the "Is Not Active" box? Then you just gotta wait for the servers to send you the results. I think. |

Or will that only give you disabled ones, not archived ones??? |

You will only end up with the disabled caches doing this. |
